This competition highlights the quality and merit of wine produced
from cool climate regions such as the Mornington Peninsula, Geelong and the Yarra Valley in Victoria, as well as Tasmania and
New Zealand. The Cool
Climate Wine Show
Tasting will be held at the Showgrounds on Wednesday, March 5th
between 6.00pm and 8pm. This is a unique opportunity for the public to match skills with the judges and
is proving very
popular with wine lovers and those interested in learning more about the
different varieties of cool
climate wine. The $15 admission includes a catalogue and a special tasting
glass.
The Awards Presentation Dinner will be held at the Showgrounds
on Friday, March 7th at 7.00pm. Tickets are required for the Tasting and the Dinner and should be booked
well in advance.
The Society welcomes your participation in this event.
Entries for the Cool Climate Wine Show close on February 15th
2008.
The 2008 Seminar (on the impact of weather and climate on agribusiness)
