This competition highlights the quality and merit of wine produced
from cool climate regions such as the Mornington Peninsula, Geelong and the Yarra Valley in Victoria, as well as Tasmania and
New Zealand.

Climate Wine Show
Competition will be held on Tuesday & Wednesday, 24th & 25th February.
Entries for the Cool Climate Wine Show close on (dateline will be announced
soon).
The Cool
Climate Wine Show
Tasting will be held at the Red Hill Showgrounds on Wednesday, February 25th
between 6.00pm and 8pm. This is a unique opportunity for the public to match skills with the judges and
is proving very
popular with wine lovers and those interested in learning more about the
different varieties of cool
climate wine. The $15 admission includes a special tasting glass,
courtesy of Luigi Bormioli.
The Awards Presentation Dinner will be held at the Showgrounds
on Friday, February 27th at 7.00pm. Tickets are required for the Tasting and the Dinner and should be booked
well in advance.
The Society welcomes your participation in this event.
The 2009 Seminar, on the impact of greenhouse emissions and carbon
trading on agribusiness,
will be held on Friday, May 1st.
